Perfect Evening

November 8th, 2007

by Peter James

The wine is chilled, the lights are low, the music is soft. After kissing her you reach out and begin to unbutton her blouse. She reaches her hand out and strokes your chest, her lips slightly parted and her eyes dreamy. You pull her blouse off and stroke her throat, and she makes a purring sound. You’re about to make the next move… the phone rings! It never fails - after setting the stage for a night of perfect passion, something will happen to ruin the sexy mood you’ve take such care to set up unless you take a few precautions in advance.

First off, turn off the phone ringer and turn down your answering machine. The only thing worse than having the phone ring while you’re in a situation like above would be having you decide to answer the phone - a definite no-no. Having the phone ringing and ringing while you make your signature move, or hearing a voice in the room saying "Are you there? Pick up the phone" is not definitely conducive to furthering a night of passion.

It should go without saying, but don’t answer the phone. Expecting your date to wait patiently while you talk about football scores or the meeting at work is one thing. Expecting her to maintain her level of sexual excitement is not going to happen without you there to keep her simmering.

This one is especially for couples. If you have children, either send them to the babysitter, leave them with a sitter and visit a nice hotel, or make sure if they’re small that they are thoroughly tucked into bed and asleep. Many a parent has
suddenly heard the sound of a tiny voice saying "Daddy, how come you’re kissing Mommy like that?" NOT a romantic moment.

If you like a little music to soften the mood, don’t rely on a source that will some- times barrage you with commercials. You don’t want to an ad for auto insurance or - worse - douche or hemorrhoid preparations - to intrude on your night of love. And make sure that your musical selection doesn’t have any loud songs that might come on later during a sensitive moment. For this reason, leaving your TV off is a good idea, as well.

Clean up your apartment, or at least the parts you’ll be using. Throwing your girlfriend back on the bed to make love to her and having her come face-to-face with your dirty socks may not be the best way to make her feel what you are hoping she’ll feel.

Also hide or put away any porn or nude magazines. You may not find them a problem, but most women really don’t like them. Your evening will go a little smoother if you just keep them out of sight.

Clean the bathroom before your date comes over. If you’re married, it won’t hurt you to do this, either. Women do like to use the bathroom before sex, and a yellow toilet bowl or your hair clippings all over the sink is certainly going to make staying in the mood rather difficult for her.

Never serve the following foods for a romantic pre-coital meal- beans, broccoli, onions, heavy garlic, very hot hot sauces, or anything that is difficult to digest, strong of odor or hard to eat like spaghetti. Also avoid food like turkey legs or corn on the cob that leave strings between your teeth.

Having a condom where you can get to it easily and quickly - put the wrapped condom under your pillow, or just inside a drawer where you expect to end up can keep you from having to stop at a sensitive moment and look for a condom or tear open the box. Also try not to leave the condom package out in plain site.

If you have roommates, make sure they’re out for the entire evening. You don’t want to find your roommate walking in just as you have removed your partner’s bra and she’s got her hands on your zipper. This can be embarrassing, and if your roommate is casual, he or she may even try to start a conversation!

If you drink wine or other alcoholic beverages, be sure that you don’t drink too fast. Too much alcohol can not only make you less in touch with what is going on, it can also cause you to act inappropriately and can cause impotence. A pleasant glow is one thing, but try to avoid going further.

Basically, before you begin your romantic evening, make sure that you have taken care of any potential distractions, that your space is clean and pleasant, that the stage is set for a night of passion.

Our relationship with our partner is one of our priorities especially in marriage. In maintaining a good relationship, there are, however, many things, which we should consider. One of the vital factors that contribute to the stability and deepening of a relationship is sex.

Sex is essential in a relationship. It’s not only enough to be responsible in terms of love and commitment but we should also seek satisfy them in terms of our sexual relationship. That’s why there are a lot of issues raised regarding sexual capacity and performance such as foreplay, penis size, libido, orgasm etc. Apparently, many times, a lot of relationships and marriages fail because of lack of satisfaction and unsolved problems in lovemaking.

The role of sex in a relationship is not solely confined to physical pleasure. The performance especially of a man in sex also is a manifestation of his affection for his partner and his concern for the relationship. A man, who desires the happiness of his woman, should strive to be a good partner in bed then.

Today, there are a lot of information and products out in the market, which help men to enhance their sexual relationships like pills that enlarge the penis size or medicines that increase the libido. There are also natural methods for those who are reluctant to take the medicines.

Good and healthy diet plays an important role for both man and woman in the process of lovemaking. This information provided by science is actually just a rediscovery of a tradition that is traced back to history. Even during the ancient civilization, men already discovered and started using aphrodisiacs for arousal and in order heighten their sexual activity. Among these sexually stimulating food and beverage are coffee and meat. While there is weak evidence established regarding their connection of the with penis enlargement, coffee and meat have been known to produce strong stimulating effects for couples in sex.

Both the coffee and the meat have components that irritate the mucous membrane of the digestive system. The mucous membrane of the digestive tract is similar to that of the genital organ. If coffee and meat then irritate the digestive tract, they likewise cause the same effect to the genital organs of people. This chemical process inside the body is what leads to the increase of sexual excitement. No wonder why there are couples who pay attention to the details of food intake before sex since they seek to achieve a good sex through aphrodisiacs. After all, there is no good sex without a strong sexual excitement between the couple during the entire lovemaking.

Although, it has been stated that coffee and meat are effective sexual stimulants, one must learn to control the use of these. High diet in caffeine and protein may lead to several health disorders and diseases. Moreover, in sex, too much intake of these may result to over stimulation of the genital organs and uncontrolled excitement thus leading to early orgasm in the sexual activity. In this case, the couple will have already reached orgasm even before they start to enjoy their love making session. Moderate use of these aphrodisiacs must be observed then. As they say, too much of the same thing is unhealthy.

Lose Weight by Sleeping

November 8th, 2007

Do you fell that you need to lose weight? Well then don-t just count calories. You might want to count sheep as well.

Recent studies have shown that sleep deprivation disrupts a series of metabolism and hormonal processes. It causes increased hunger and affects the body-s metabolism making it difficult to lose and control weight.

Lack of sleep causes a hormone called cortisol, which controls the appetite, to take excess calories and store them as excess body fat. In addition, sleep loss interferes with carbohydrate metabolism which may cause high blood glucose levels. The excess amount of glucose encourages the overproduction of insulin, which may lead to diabetes or even obesity.

Furthermore, sleep deprivation can promote weight gain by affecting our behavior. People who lack sleep tended to crave sweets or high carbohydrate, high fat food with low nutrient value. They tend to snack on chips, cakes, pastries, burgers, fries, soft drinks, etc. Though the short-term rise in blood sugar, brought on by these snacks, gives a surge of energy, the extra calories are not needed by the body and must be stored as body fat.

These calories are not so easily shed than taken. When they are sleep deprived, people are often too tired to exercise or they work out less intensely than usual. They commonly feel exhausted and lack the energy and motivation to do even simple exercises. They rather go to sleep, or eat, than go physical. In due time, the calories that are gained and not easily burned are deposited in the body as fat.

Some people may require less hours of sleep to be in top condition during the day- while others need more than 10 hours. But experts agree that most people need at least eight hours of sleep each night to give themselves enough energy to exercise, eat right and keep off those unwanted pounds. Yet, according to a poll sponsored by the National Sleep Foundation, only 30 percent of adults get eight or more hours of sleep on weeknights- while 52 percent do on weekends. A third of adults reportedly sleep no more than six-and-a-half hours nightly.

In fact, disruption in the sleeping patterns in the United States and in the industrialized world is thought as one of the main reasons that people are getting overweight. People should start making behavioral and lifestyle changes now for a better, healthier tomorrow.
